How to reach Bled
Bled is located at the foot of the Julian Alps and at the confluence of the two sources of the Sava river. It is easy to reach by car or by train.
Bled is just 4 km away from A2 highway (Karavanke-Ljubljana-Obrežje).
Good roads and short distances offer an excellent opportunity to explore the beauties of Slovenia by car. Please note that travelling with your own car requires buying a car VIGNETTE for using the highways. The vignette can be bought on the border crossings or at petrol stations all over the country. A one-week vignette can be used for short visits.
In Slovenia it is obligatory to have the day-lights turned on during the day.
